Need lots of cool, fun decorating tips for my bedroom?

So I’ve been slowly making over my bedroom but I am stuck as to cool decorating ideas. I have a lot of blank and boring wall space (I have family/friend pictures up but that’s not what I am going for). What I really need are a lot of fun, easy, and cheap! decorating ideas that will help bring my room together.

My color scheme is hot pink, orange, and yellow. The kinds of things I like for decorations are vintage/stylized flowers, hearts, and butterflies/faeries. I am also a competent seamstress so any sewing projects/ideas would be great!
Thank you in advance for thorough and informative answers!
I’m 23 years old so I don’t think I have to worry much about growing out of it at this point. And if I do, well I don’t have worry about anyone but myself footing the bill.

is it absolutely necessary to do fashion sketches before the production of the item ?

i suck at drawing, i mean really badly, and can never seem to convey my ideas into sketches. But if i were to purchase the fabric and play around with it by draping it over my body in different positions until i was happy with it and then sew it, would that be ok? I’m not an aspiring fashion designer or anything, its just something i do for fun. Would dresses that are made this way be wearable? or is it really amateur?

How can I keep my vinyl table cloth from sliding?

I have little boys that lean on and pull the ends of a vinyl felt backed tablecloth right off the table. I like all the fun seasonal tablecloths, does anyone have any tips to help stop the thing from sliding all over? I do not want to sew elastic around the bottom, although I have done that before. I am looking for a quick fix, like can I put something on the top of my wood table first that won’t ruin the table top like a tacky substance?
